Facilities and Amenities

- Has a pool surrounded by little huts and beach chairs, and a beautiful terrace right next to the beach, with a spectacular view of the bay.

- In a large hut, located on a hill from where it’s possible to watch the sea and the green gardens, you’ll find the restaurant and the bar, which offer visitors a diverse menu of mouth-watering meals including several meats, poultry, fish and fresh seafood, as well as a large variety of beverages and natural juices, cocktails, drinks, national and imported beers and wine.

- Leaving the restaurant you can find the terrace with view to the sea, with tables fitted with large parasols, from which our guests can enjoy a sensational view of dusk. From this gorgeous view comes the name of the resort. At night, the terrace is the ideal place to relax with the soft sea breeze, the coming and going of the waves, and the candles in the tables, which give it a romantic touch.

- We also have a conference room with capacity for 125 people.

- Pool: in the center of the resort there’s a pool in the shape of a fish. The “body” of the fish is the deepest part, for adults. It is approximately 7-8 feet deep. The “tail” of the fish is the most shallow, and the smallest, ideal for small children.

- Around the pool there are various small huts, a small bar and seats available for getting a sun tan. In front of the pool there’s a water fountain with many levels. A beautiful garden surrounds the pool, which gives it privacy, since it can’t be seen from outside the place. A small rustic wooden bridge takes you to the terrace with view to the sea. The use of the pool is free for the guests of the resort, and for visitors it has a cost of $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children and $7.00 for retirees.

If you’re travelling by bus, go to the Albrook Terminal and take a bus to San Carlos. The fare is $2.50 coming and going (so a round trip will cost USD$5.00). Once you reach San Carlos, take a taxi to the El Palmar Beach of $1.00 or $1.50. (Walking there is not recommended, especially if you have a surf board, since the beach is more or less 1km and a half from San Carlos.
Ask the taxi driver to take you to the end of the Main Street, to the Bay View Resort.
